ATAD continues to reinforce its capabilities in offshore energy steel structures through the successful completion and delivery of the deck structure for a Central Processing Platform (CPP) as part of a key project in Vietnam’s energy sector. As a technically demanding component of an offshore oil and gas processing facility, the scope included a deck measuring up to 20 m × 60 m (approximately 1,200 m²), requiring advanced fabrication capabilities, rigorous quality management and high standards of project execution.
Designed to operate in a highly corrosive marine environment, the deck system was required to meet stringent specifications for welding quality, protective coating systems, fabrication tolerances and installation accuracy to ensure long-term safety, durability and operational performance. The entire fabrication and inspection process was closely supervised by the Owner, Main Contractor and project consultant in accordance with the project’s technical requirements.

ATAD’s quality assurance and control capabilities were supported by a highly qualified QA/QC team holding internationally recognized certifications, including NACE Level II for protective coating inspection and CSWIP 3.1 for welding inspection. The project was also executed by welders certified to 6G/6GR standards – advanced qualifications widely required for oil and gas, energy and offshore steel structure projects worldwide.
Despite adverse weather conditions and a compressed project schedule, ATAD maintained both quality and delivery performance through seamless coordination among its design, engineering, production, assembly, QA/QC and logistics teams. Close collaboration with the Owner, Main Contractor and project partners also contributed to the safe and successful delivery of the scope in full compliance with technical requirements and contractual commitments.
The successful completion of the CPP deck system represents more than the delivery of a single project scope. It further demonstrates ATAD’s Engineered For Delivery capabilities across the oil and gas, energy and offshore steel structure sectors – industries that demand the highest standards of engineering, quality and safety.
This milestone also highlights ATAD’s capabilities to contribute to large-scale energy projects while further strengthening its position within the industrial and infrastructure supply chain in Vietnam and international markets.
