As part of the activities celebrating ATAD’s 22nd anniversary, the first matches of the Badminton Tournament, held under the ATAD Sports Day 2026, have officially taken place, kicking off a series of sporting activities for employees across the Company.
The preliminary round brought together athletes from the Ho Chi Minh City Office, ATAD Dong Nai Factory, and ATAD Long An Factory. The participation of factory management alongside employees created an open and inclusive sporting environment, where boundaries between departments and positions faded away, making room for a shared spirit of sportsmanship, energy, and enthusiasm.

On court, athletes demonstrated confidence and determination in every rally. Decisive shots, impressive saves, and closely contested exchanges that went down to the final points created an energetic and engaging atmosphere throughout the matches.

Sharing his thoughts on the tournament, the Head of the Badminton Organizing Committee said that the event was initially envisioned simply as an opportunity for employees to relax, stay active, and recharge after working hours. However, the atmosphere on court went beyond those initial expectations.
“The energy picked up the moment everyone stepped onto the court. Differences in position or department faded away, replaced by teamwork, seamless coordination, fair play, and enthusiastic cheers for one another after every rally”.

According to the Organizing Committee, after demanding workdays and tight project schedules, the court became a space where employees could recharge, release stress, and connect with one another in a different way.

“What makes the tournament meaningful is not only the exciting matches, but also the moments when everyone shares the joy, cheers each other on, and experiences the event together. When people come together through a shared passion, team spirit, and enthusiasm, an ordinary weekend can become a memorable experience for the entire team”.

Beyond showcasing athletic skills and competitive spirit, the Badminton Tournament also provided an opportunity for employees from different units to meet, interact, and strengthen connections across the ATAD family. The presence and support of management, together with the active participation of employees, helped create an open space for connection – one where energy and teamwork extended beyond the workplace.
With the preliminary round now concluded, the matches have left behind memorable moments and added fresh energy to the ongoing ATAD Sports Day 2026 journey – Strength to Rise Beyond. More than a series of competitions, the Sports Day is an opportunity to see collective strength in action through connection, support, and a shared drive to take on the challenges ahead.
