On 9 August 2018, at Thilawa Special Economic Zone, SCI Electric Public Company Limited (Thailand) held an official opening ceremony for the group’s first galvanized steel factory in Myanmar – Myanmar SCI Metal Tech factory. The ceremony had the participation of guests and representatives of the media and the public: Daw Cho Cho Wynn, Vice Chairperson of Thilawa Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Management Committee, U Aung SoeTha, Chairman of Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development Limited, Mr. Pisit Serewiwattana, President of EXIM Bank of Thailand, and Mr. Noppol Milinthanggoon, Chairman of the Board of Directors, SCI Electric Public Company Limited. SCI Metal Tech constructed a modern factory according to international standards, and that the company is making use of modern technology and adding value to metal products.
As the steel structure contractor of the project, ATAD has applied an optimized pre-engineered steel building system that helps to reduce master schedule and respect all the highest quality, and safety requirements. The success of the project continuously affirms ATAD’s ability in design, manufacturing, and erection of factory, warehouse and heavy industry projects.
