On December 2, 2025, the first batch of steel components for Terminal T2 officially arrived at the construction site of Phu Quoc International Airport.

ATAD is the first contractor to manufacture and transport steel structures to the site, marking an important milestone that demonstrates the company’s end-to-end capabilities in production, logistics, and on-site execution, as well as our strong commitment to project schedule.

The Phu Quoc International Airport Expansion Project is a national key project invested by Sun Group, built to 4E standards, covering 1,050 hectares with an annual capacity of up to 20 million passengers. With a highly compressed construction timeline of only 18 months to serve the APEC 2027 Summit, the project plays a critical role in shaping the long-term development of Phu Quoc.

Under this package, ATAD is responsible for the detailed design, fabrication, transportation, and erection of the primary steel structure for Terminal T2.
The terminal’s architectural concept is inspired by the image of the Fire Phoenix, featuring complex curved wings that require absolute precision in structural fabrication and erection.

With extensive experience in major airport projects such as Long Thanh International Airport, Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3, Cam Ranh International Airport, Cat Bi International Airport, Phu Bai Airport, and Wattay International Airport (Laos), ATAD continues to demonstrate its capability in executing large-scale, high-precision steel structure works that meet stringent technical standards.

The successful and ahead-of-schedule delivery of the first steel structure shipment marks a crucial beginning, reaffirming ATAD’s leading capabilities across the entire chain: design – fabrication – transportation – on-site erection. This milestone creates strong momentum for the subsequent phases of the project.
