On May 12th, 2018, nearly 90 lecturers and students from University Of Architecture HCMC had an exciting day at ATAD Dong Nai factory – the first LEED Gold factory in Asia and the first LEED Platinum factory office in Vietnam.
As a part of the cooperation program between ATAD and UAH signed in March 2017, ATAD held a lot of field trips for students that help provide hands-on knowledge and experience in construction field. Especially, ATAD factory tour is a great opportunity to explore steel structure industry in general and ATAD in particular. In the factory tour, students explored modern steel structure production line and learned about the quality management system according to the international standard ISO 9000: 2008, 9001: 2008 and OHSAS 14001: 2008. Moreover, ATAD representatives introduced highlight green features including solar and wind power systems, air fresh air system, intelligent lighting system as well as economical water-saving equipment.
The trip finished successfully in the joy of everyone. The greatest achievement of this trip was inspiring students to pursue their career paths in steel structure industry
