Mazda (Thaco Mazda) factory project invested by THACO Corporation and Mazda Corporation (Japan) at Chu Lai-Truong Hai Industrial Zone, Nui Thanh, Quang Nam was started the construction in March 2017 and is expected to be put into operation after one year of construction. This is the biggest Mazda factory in Southeast Asia with a total area of 35 ha (12ha of workshop), which has the most modern technology and fully automated production line to manufacture the 7th generation Mazda models.
The production lines are supplied from well-known equipment manufacturers in Europe and Japan. The factory has a capacity of 100,000vehicles/year with a total investment of USD $526,800,000.
Being a key project of the whole economic region, the project requires advanced skills, manufacturing techniques and extensive experiences of contractors. ATAD has been selected by the investor as the steel structure contractor with the scope of design and production with a total area of 124,200 m2. With two most modern steel structure factories in the region with a capacity of 12,000 tons per month, ATAD is available to meet the short progress and high technical requirements of the project.
