Marking another milestone abroad, ATAD has completed its steel structure scope for the MRT Line 7 stations – advancing one of the Philippines’ most strategic infrastructure developments.
Spanning over 22,000 tons of fabricated steel, this project stands as a major milestone in ATAD’s journey of international growth. More than just a feat of engineering, it highlights our commitment to delivering world-class solutions, and showcases the technical, organizational, and project management capabilities of a Vietnamese enterprise operating on the global stage.
Project Scale and ATAD’s Scope of Work
At the MRT7 project, ATAD undertook the entire package of steel structure works for multiple stations along the metro line, including:
- Detailed steel structure drawings, strictly complying with the technical standards of modern urban transit systems.
- Fabrication at ATAD’s factories, leveraging advanced technologies to ensure high quality, absolute precision, and adherence to tight deadlines.
- On-site erection, implementing optimized construction methods to ensure safety, efficiency, and timely delivery.
Given the large volume of work and stringent technical requirements, ATAD mobilized a team of experienced engineers and skilled workers, along with a comprehensive set of specialized equipment, to ensure smooth project execution despite challenges related to weather, logistics, and urban construction conditions in central Manila.
Affirming the Global Position of Vietnam’s Steel Structure Brand
The successful and on-schedule completion of the MRT7 project in line with high-quality standards not only reflects ATAD’s comprehensive capabilities in steel structure construction but also serves as compelling evidence of the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in the Southeast Asian steel structure industry.
The MRT7 stations feature modern architectural designs, strict technical specifications, and large volumes of steel work – all of which posed significant challenges for any contractor. ATAD’s ability to meet the international client’s stringent requirements underscores its adaptability and proficiency in executing large-scale projects that meet global standards.
MRT7 – A Strategic Transportation Infrastructure for Manila
The MRT Line 7 is part of Manila’s rapidly expanding urban transit network. Once completed, it will significantly reduce travel times from suburban areas to the city center, relieve traffic congestion in the capital, and enhance quality of life for local residents.
ATAD’s participation in such a large-scale and impactful project as MRT7 not only highlights its strong international integration capabilities but also marks a major step forward in its journey to expand into global markets.
