On April 22, 2025, at the National Exhibition Construction Center (NECC) (No. 1, Do Duc Duc Street, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi), ATAD Steel Structure Corporation participated in the thematic seminar “Quality Control in the Construction Industry and Construction Technology” as part of the Contech Vietnam 2025 International Exhibition for Construction, Mining, and Transportation.
During the seminar, Mr. Mai Phuoc Duc, ATAD’s Project Director, presented a solution for lifting the terminal’s central roof steel structure of the Long Thanh International Airport project. This solution combined tension and compression forces using a modern hydraulic lifting system, in collaboration with the subcontractor VSL.
The Lifting method is one of the leading advanced technologies in modern construction engineering. The terminal’s central roof structure is one of the most complex and challenging lifting modules ever in the construction industry, with a total steel structure weight of over 5,300 tons. This is also the largest roof module in the history of passenger terminals worldwide.
Contech Vietnam 2025 gathers over 200 companies from 15 countries, showcasing advanced technological solutions in infrastructure construction, renewable energy, smart cities, equipment, and lighting solutions. The event is a reputable professional forum that fosters connections, technology transfer, and quality improvement within Vietnam’s construction industry.
Additionally, during the seminar, Mr. Do Duc Trung had the opportunity to exchange ideas with lecturers from the University of Transport and Communications, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, and industry leaders on the application of steel structures in highway, high-speed railway, and urban railway projects. These applications have already been implemented by ATAD in both domestic and international projects (project names may be mentioned). This demonstrates the readiness of Vietnamese enterprises in general, and ATAD in particular, to participate in upcoming key national infrastructure projects in Vietnam.
