Metro Line 1 Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien is one of the most important infrastructure projects with the expectation of solving traffic congestion, and bringing a new modern look to Ho Chi Minh City.
ATAD was entrusted as the steel structure contractor of detailed design, fabrication and erection of steel frame cover items for the project. Especially, the highlight is Tan Cang station – one of the most important stations in the entire Metro Line. The station is built with 137.5m length, 31m width and 20m heigh, three floors. This is an item with complicated steel dome structure, round pipes, technical requirements and high precision in fabrication and erection. Currently, ATAD is completing the production of components and erecting the roof structure system at Tan Cang station.
Due to the project implemented in the city center, the construction site is limited. Therefore, the gathering of supplies and equipment encountered many difficulties, mainly took place at night. Still, ATAD engineers on the construction site of urban railway No. 1 keep their positive working spirit to meet the technical and labor safety requirements of the contractor. All team focuses on completing the project items to contribute to the completion of the railway line as planned.
