A Typical Model For Modern Architecture
The high-rise steel structure frame model displayed at the ATAD booth is not just an industrial product but also an engineering work of art. Designed for projects taller than 20 stories, this model shows meticulous attention to every detail and line, reflecting a level of design and production that has reached international standards.
The most captivating feature of the model is its system of three typical steel column types, each with unique applications and advantages:
Three Pillars Of Advanced Technology
Column No. 1 – Star Beam (Star-section Column) is one of ATAD’s prides in the field of large-scale high-rise construction. With its unique star-shaped cross-section design, this type of column not only has excellent two-way load-bearing capacity but also intelligently integrates round steel and concrete to create a composite column with a steel core. This combination provides superior load-bearing capacity with a durable core, while also ensuring natural fire resistance thanks to the surrounding concrete layer—an advanced engineering solution that meets the highest safety standards.
Column No. 2 – Box Beam (Box-section Column) represents perfection in structural design. With its square or rectangular cross-section, this type of column has very good load-bearing capacity in both directions, making it a top choice for high-rise and super-tall building projects. The stability and solidity of the Box Beam have contributed to the creation of impressive skyscrapers.
Column No. 3 – I Beam (I-section Column) is designed for small-scale or low-rise multi-story buildings. Although it has a simpler structure, the I Beam still ensures durability and cost-effectiveness, meeting the diverse needs of the construction market.
A Comprehensive Structural System
In addition to the three main column types, the model also presents a complete structural system with I-section steel beams, shear studs, and decking sheets. The perfect coordination among these components creates a composite steel frame system, where each part plays a crucial role and works in sync as a unified body.
Modern Manufacturing Capability
Behind the exhibition model lies an entire modern manufacturing system with 13 production lines capable of fabricating all types of cross-sections. In particular, ATAD is proud to own two Box Beam column production lines, 3m and 5m high, that use 100mm-thick steel imported from Italy. This not only demonstrates the company’s strategic vision but also affirms its commitment to producing products that meet European quality standards.
