ATAD officially publishes its Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), reinforcing its commitment to environmental data transparency and responding to the increasingly stringent standards of the global industry.

As sustainability, carbon transparency, and environmental responsibility become increasingly integrated into the criteria for selecting materials, suppliers, and business partners, environmental data is emerging as a critical factor across global supply chains.

A significant milestone in this journey is ATAD’s official publication of its Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) on The International EPD System and EPD Southeast Asia.
Developed based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, the EPD quantifies the environmental impacts of a product in accordance with internationally recognized standards and methodologies. Its publication provides environmental information in a systematic, transparent, and independently verified manner.
For ATAD, the EPD is more than a certification. It represents a significant step forward in strengthening environmental data management capabilities and meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of international markets.
Data Transparency as the Foundation for More Sustainable Choices
An EPD provides customers and stakeholders with reliable data to assess a product’s environmental impacts, supporting informed decisions in material selection, building design, and the management of environmental objectives throughout a project.
As green building standards, emissions reduction targets, and carbon management mechanisms continue to gain importance, verifiable environmental data is becoming an essential component in evaluating the environmental performance of both products and buildings.
For companies participating in global supply chains, proactively standardizing and disclosing environmental data also strengthens their ability to respond to evolving market requirements, including carbon-related regulations such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
ATAD’s EPD was developed using the LCA methodology and underwent rigorous independent verification and technical assessment by Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC), under the oversight framework of SWEDAC – the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment.
