ATAD’s used battery collection program is one of the practical initiatives under our ESG direction, helping raise awareness of proper waste segregation, collection, and management while promoting more sustainable practices in the workplace.

On May 25, 2026, ATAD officially launched its used battery collection program across the Head Office, ATAD Dong Nai Factory, and ATAD Long An Factory. The program accepts various types of used batteries, including AA and AAA batteries, rechargeable Ni-MH and Li-ion batteries, and laptop batteries.
After more than two months, the program has received active participation and support from ATAD employees. From offices to factories, used batteries have been proactively collected at designated collection points, gradually fostering responsible waste management habits and strengthening environmental awareness across the workplace.
Once collected, the used batteries are transferred to authorized waste treatment providers for proper handling in accordance with applicable safety and waste management requirements. Proper collection and treatment help minimize the risk of battery components being released into the environment while reinforcing responsible waste management practices across the organization.
As part of ATAD’s ESG direction, the used battery collection program not only helps reduce potential environmental impacts but also brings sustainability into everyday workplace practices.
At ATAD, sustainability is brought to life through practical actions – consistently embedded in our daily operations and collectively driven toward creating lasting value for the environment, communities, and society.
