On this Hung King’s Festival, ATAD Staff had a wonderful company trip in Cambodia.
We discovered Cambodian traditional culture and traveled deep into the jungle to discover the ancient temple city of Angkor.
We took a 12-hour bus ride from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Riep. In Siem Reap, we had a chance to explore the ancient temples and cites of Khmer empire. The majestic temple of Angkor Wat, with its five iconic corncob towers rising high above the surrounding jungle, is the chief attraction, rivaled by the magical Bayon, embellished with superhuman images of the enigmatically half-smiling Avalokiteshvara, and the jungle-smothered temple remains of Ta Prohm.

We arrived in Phnom Penh on the third day. The program organized a field trip to the elegant complex housing including the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, which is the most impressive of the city’s attraction. It is a cluster of beautiful temples, palaces, and landscapes that embody the Khmer culture and architecture. We also visited Skun Spider Market to try a special food and shopping souvenirs at Central market.
